Wow! It has been one busy month or so. Now, I realize it has been a long while since I have posted anything on here, but I have a bunch of good reasons!
I have probably been one of the most productive students in the history of the world….well okay, maybe not that dramatic, but seriously I have been so busy!
The last time I posted I was working on so many Graphic Design projects they were literally coming out of my ears! But alas, I have finished all of them, and have been working on one big one that I will tell you about in a minute!
First, that big style guide I was creating for Black Milk Clothing has been completed, and it looks amazing! I can’t wait to print it off for my Senior show! Lets be honest – it is my pride and joy, and my professor even put it in HER teaching portfolio. So you know that is a good thing!
Second, I was working on a lot of little package design projects for some classes – all of which turned out beautifully. I can’t wait to get them all printed and packaged up for my Senior Show!
As soon as I get my show up I will be posting tons of photos, but here is a surprise for all of you out there who care to know – I will be having two senior shows! One will be a show all by myself for my art work 😀 YAY! And the other will be the Graphic Design show with my peer Wiley (who is a talented artist and designer – trust me!)
So now for the current project I am working on! I am a Graphic Design Editor for The Briar Cliff Review! We are on our 25th Edition so this is kinda a big deal! I am working with a professor I trust very much and a group of peers who are doing a wonderful job being Design Editors as well! As for the group of people upstairs that send us down our work – they are being very nice and understanding.
All in all I think we have a pretty good team together this year, and I am hoping that everything turns out wonderfully because I will be getting my name published in that book as a designer! YAY! Woooohooooo already published before graduating with my degree!
So, for now, I will leave you with a wonderful Goodbye 2012 and Hello 2013. May this be our year for success!
