Designer, Photographer, & Artist

Today is the first day I am back to work at my campus mailroom. Of course it is dead around here due to it being our Fall Break aka “You stressed out so much over your midterms we decided to be nice and give you a break for three days (two of which include a weekend)” o.O An extra day is not the greatest for all the stress, but I guess its better than no break at all.

So anyway, back on topic. I am working in the mailroom for two hours, and I have nothing to do since the wonderful mail peoples have not come to visit me! So I am boppin around on the interweb….more specifically Pinterest, and I can’t help but express how much joy I have knowing that I get to wake up every day for the rest of my life and do something I LOVE!

Yes, of course I was looking at the Design boards on this wonderful website…so of course I am referring to the B E A U TIFUL fact that I get to be a Graphic Designer for the rest of my life (that is accounting for the fact that someone hires me or I start my own business).

So as I am boppin around the Design boards of Pinterest I start to realize how unprepared I am at this point to graduate. I have a resume, but it seems like for a designer you need to have a RESUME! By this I mean, I need to showcase my design abilities while informing my future boss how incredibly prepared I am. Then I realized, I have to prepare a GREAT portfolio of my design work. Not to mention the portfolio I need for my art. Then I have to start designing my own business cards and logos and such for all of my “odd jobs/side work” until I can start my own business. Soooo basically…I freaked myself out!

Yep, that’s what I do best! When I have nothing to stress out about I make something to stress about! So, if you guys aren’t following me on Pinterest you should because due to the new found stress I am pinning a lot more! So follow me my minions….sorry always wanted to say that! LOL but seriously….follow me!

**On a side note: I am currently selecting photography that I have done in the past year to submit to the Briar Cliff Review ~ so keep an eye out for a blog in the near future of the photos I have submitted (and a poem too)…I will also give you more details on what the Briar Cliff Review is and some exciting news about additions to my Resume!

Toodles Interweb!
